We can’t believe it’s almost that time again. With less than a week left before the kickoff of the 2017 IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, we’re sharing some quick tips for attendees to help make the most of your time there. The tradeshow floor is massive with over 550,000 square feet of exhibit space and can take over 15 minutes just to walk to each end, so it’s important to have a plan.

1. MAP THE EXHIBITS YOU WANT TO VISIT – there’s so much to see and do at IAE 2017 that time can escape you. You can save a ton of time by using the official “My Expo Plan” to help map out all the exhibits you’re interested in visiting and it provides you with a Personalized Show Guide you can use when making your rounds on the show floor. If you’re coming in with a few colleagues, try to divide and conquer so you can share all the amazing things you’ve seen and learned.

2. TRY TO SCHEDULE MEETINGS IN ADVANCE – make a list of who you want to talk to and try to schedule your meetings in advance so you’re not scrambling to juggle your time at the show.

3. DOWNLOAD THE IAAPA EXPOS MOBILE APP – take your search and planning tools on the go. No need to worry about printing things out and trying to find things on a giant physical map. Everything will be available to you at the touch of your finger. Learn more.

4. TAKE NOTES – don’t forget to make notes of the things you’ve seen, ideas that sparked and people you’ve met. There’s a lot to take in and you won’t want to miss out on great opportunities.

It’s going to be a couple of days filled with fun, amusement and innovation. No matter if you’re new to the industry or have been in the game for decades like we have, there’s always something new to see, experience and learn.
