As the third day of the trade show is underway, we’re taking a look back at Day 2 at #IAE17. It was another full day packed with record-breaking attendance – as of Tuesday afternoon, registered attendance was 36,800, which surpasses last year’s show-end record of 34,800.

After a successful FEC Lunch session on the first day, the P1AG crew attended the Making Marketing Meaningful: An FEC Operator’s Guide lunch and learn. Attendees learned how to develop a marketing plan for their FEC to address key strategic issues. There was a large variety of topics covered within the session and people left feeling inspired and more prepared to develop their own winning marketing plans.

  
On the show floor, we saw many exhibitors showcasing the latest VR games and attractions. From VR flying simulators and experiences, to VR-enhanced rides and theater-style amusement and gaming, the possibilities seemed endless. Triotech and video game giant Ubisoft also announced their partnership to bring VR Maze attractions to the market with two titles in development for 2018.

IAAPA also announced the winners of the 2017 Brass Ring Awards. In the Best New Product (Games & Devices – Arcade, Video Games & Equipment) category, Coastal Amusement Ice Man took first place, and coming in second was Sega Daytona Championship USA. You can see the full list of winners here.

To keep the fun going, we brought back the P1AG Social for the second year in a row. Attendees were invited to stop by our booth in the afternoon between 3-5pm to grab a couple of drinks and meet our amazing team. Booth 806 was quickly buzzing with activity and became the place to be. We appreciate everyone who took the time to come by; we had a blast chatting with all our guests.
