Almost a year after the doors closed on a popular sports bar in a Suburb of Boston, it has reopened as the newest location of Barrett’s Alehouse. Home to a spacious dining room, a state-of-the-art interactive 50 piece game arcade, two bars and four private function areas, Barrett’s Alehouse West Bridgewater is the new choice for great food and fun times.

This 23,000 square foot facility was fully renovated over the past couple of months, and walls were opened up to make way for a 4,500 square foot “Game Room” equipped with Embed’s latest debit card system for a cashless and e-ticket experience. Guests can play the hottest new titles including The Walking Dead game, get their fill of classics like ICE-Ball alleys and instant prize win machines, or try their hand on new takes of retro-favorites with Space Invaders Frenzy and The World’s Largest Pac-Man. Guests can expect to see more new games coming over the next few months and for years to come.

“It’s been an amazing couple of months to see through the building process, finalizing the Game Room, and seeing it all come together,” said Dave Barry, Managing Partner at Barrett’s Alehouse West Bridgewater. “From the moment you step through the door, our guests can expect a modern, state-of-the-art experience. The Game Room adds an extra element of fun, making it a great destination for families stopping by to grab a bite, or hosting birthday parties in our private function rooms for 10 kids or 200!”

Barrett’s teamed up with P1AG to design and develop the space and redemption counter for the Game Room within the alehouse. This is the second and largest location where the two businesses have partnered together to create a winning entertainment experience for patrons. The first Game Room which opened back in 2014, is situated in their Fall River site and continues to be a popular destination for locals.
